Vertistation v2 is a device that allows ground-air-ground data communication for aircraft of all sizes and types.

The device is intended for the exchange of machine-readable data useful to aircraft systems in navigation decision-making, in-flight replanning, and to receive environmental information such as weather conditions and the presence of surrounding traffic.

Radio interface

Vertistation v2 is a transceiver radio equipment operating in the worldwide ISM 2.4Ghz band with a transmitting power of 27dBm.

The standard aerial for Vertistation v1 is a 60cm long fibreglass aerial with N-type connector, and a helical multiband GNSS aerial with an SMA connector.

The aerials can be installed directly on the Vertistation v1 or remotely by using the shortest possible length of a high-quality coaxial cable.
